Halloween Fun in Franklin

Trick- Or-Treat! Halloween season is officially here. If you need some help getting into the spooky spirit look no further than the town of Franklin. Franklin will suffice all of your ghostly needs from neighborhood decorations to Halloween Parties and Trunk – or – Treating; Franklin has you covered!



Kick off your Halloween festivities at Franklin’s annual Fall Festival on October 24th from 5:00 – 6: 30PM. There will be trick or treating, crafts, and live performance. Your children will be thrilled and what better way to celebrate the holiday?

Franklin Performing Arts Company presents Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical choreographed by Broadway’s Clay Thomson. Get a group together and check out the performance inspired by Tony Award- winning Roald Dahl. A two weekend event extravaganza with shows offered Saturday through Saturday October 19thand 20th followed by showings Friday through Sunday October 25th, 26th and 27th. A can’t- miss- event for family and friends of all ages; with a performance that will surely get you into the fall spirit!



Don’t miss out on the Farmers Market of the 2019 Season on Friday October 25th from 12:00 – 6:00 pm. End the season with the freshest fall produce from vendors around New England no better way to kick off the giving season than buying and supporting local businesses!

Attention all Ghosts and Goblins, join the Franklin Recreation Department for a spook-tacular time on October 26th from 3:30 – 5:00 pm at the Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza. Come dressed in your Halloween Costume to decorate a trick or treat bag, pumpkin, go on a trick or treat hunt and enjoy some Halloween treats!

Boo! Get spooked at the Franklin Police Halloween Party on October 26th from 1:00 – 5: 00 PM. The Franklin Police Department welcomes young and old to their annual Halloween Party; they transformed their station into the Hall of Justice; come by and visit all of your favorite Villains and Superheroes! There will also be a Spooky Trail, so if you’re down for some frightening fun check out the walking path adjacent to the police station. There will also be a Pumpkin Carving Contest, if you would like to enter, please drop off finished already carved Pumpkins to the Sculpture Park on Panther Way between 4:00-6:00pm. Candles will be provided! This will be a fun family event offering free hotdogs, whoopee pies, popcorn, face painting, Pumpkin Painting and Bounce Houses. Make sure to stop by for some Halloween fun!
